Tips & Advice Before Ordering

To make your project as successful as possible, we would like to offer some advice along the way.

• Many people think that plants are not that delicate, but they are living material and we/you want them to remain so.
• Keep in mind that plants are perishable goods and are considered items with a short shelf life.
• Plan your order so that you are certain you can take care of them immediately upon delivery. They cannot be returned.
• You must receive them within 3 days of notification to avoid deterioration of the quality of the plants. It is therefore important to plan so that the order is placed 10-12 days before the project is scheduled to be carried out.

For hedge planting

This you can do before delivery

1. Dig out where the hedge will be placed. Dig a trench that is at least 40 cm deep and 40 cm wide.
2. Spread well-burned cow manure approximately 1 bag (40-50 liters) per 10 m at the bottom of the trench.
3. Pour soil amendment over the excavated soil approximately 100 liters/10 m as well as cow manure a few handfuls per meter and mix. If you have sandy soil, it is best to use moisture-retaining amendment such as planting peat/soil. If the soil is clayey and hard, bark mulch is best for creating loose soil.
4. Pour the soil mixture back into the trench until it is full (there will usually be soil left over, save it). Now you are finished with most of the preparations and can calmly await delivery.
5. When the delivery arrives, open the packaging immediately.

• In one of the boxes you will find instructions on how to take care of your plants and detailed planting instructions for your specific hedge.
• If we have inadvertently forgotten to include them or if they have been damaged during transport so that they are unreadable, you can download them on the page where you placed your order.

Prepare yourself

• There are several things that are good to prepare and that will make it easier
  for you when the plants arrive.
• Buy soil and fertilizer for soil amendment (possible joint delivery)
• Make sure you have the tools you need ready.
• Dig the holes/trench according to the planting instructions (found on the website) in advance.
• Make sure you have access to irrigation such as hoses, connectors, etc.
• Find buckets and containers to store the plants in until planting.
